In NOT BLESSED, a story is told not once, but twenty-eight times in twenty-eight shifting versions. Twenty-eight because author Harold Abramowitz initially drafted a version of the story every day for twenty-eight days in February.
In wild celebration of NOT BLESSED (just published by Les Figues), and in the spirit of collective story-telling, Les Figues Press is hosting a twenty-eight day NOT BLESSED A LITTLE STORY CONTEST.
We invite you to create your own version of the book’s recurring story: destroy, deconstruct, build-up, skew, subvert, or whatever else you would like to do to contribute to this webbed work. Read the following excerpt from Not Blessed, meet the players and retell the story…again, as your own.
